This week, we headline the NSSN bulletin with the wave of strike action being taken by RMT members, including those in Scotland, London, Hull, East Midlands and Merseyside. Also, Unite members are escalating their action this coming week on the Woolwich Ferry. Please support all this action. Like all other workers, transport staff shouldn’t be made to pay the price for the Covid pandemic. Just as this week’s NSSN bulletin was due to go out, Unite announced the fantastic news that the bus workers in Manchester have forced back Go North West’s ‘fire and rehire’ attack. We send our congratulations and solidarity to the workers who have taken 85 days of strike action, and their union Unite.
