A
good number of trade unionists and community activists from Wales went
to NSSN Anti-Cuts Conference in London on 22nd
January. Well over 500 shop stewards/workplace reps, community
campaigners and students attended the conference and we took the
decision to launch the NSSN Anti-cuts campaign.
Especially important given that a large proportion of union reps work
now is to fight the cuts
but we want to build a wider campaign to involve everyone who is
fighting the cuts in our communities�pensioners, students, unemployed,
disability campaigners to name a few�alongside trade unionists. So
this conference is to bring together anti-cuts campaigners and trade
unionists from across Wales.
