  The NSSN steering committee has decided to put our annual conference back a week to avoid a clash of dates with a national day of action to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS on June 30th.   University pensions strike update: Universities to be hit with 14 strike days if USS row not resolved – from UCU website (22 Jan): Universities face initial 14 days of escalating strike action if a row over changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is not resolved.   The NSSN sends solidarity and congratulations to one of our affiliated unions the Bakers’, Food & Allied Workers Union (BFAWU) and their members in McDonalds, who have won a famous victory.
