Last October, thousands of Glasgow council workers sent on a 48-hour strike to demand equal pay. We are delighted to report that a potentially decisive step has been reached in talks with the employer:- GLASGOW EQUAL PAY UPDATE from Unison Glasgow City Branch:- Earlier this week the claimants’ campaign gave Glasgow City Council a revised proposal on a “Take it or Leave it Basis”.
