This week, we headline with the consultative ballot by teaching unions. This is from the NEU:- Hands up because enough is enough! Recently, we set the Government six tests for school funding before the Chancellor’s autumn Budget.   Statement from Glasgow Unison Branch:- Glasgow Equal Pay – Why we are striking. You will be aware that Glasgow school support for learning staff, child development officers, school administration workers, home carers, cleaners, caterers and other council workers are being called out on strike on 23/24 October in a dispute over the council’s failure to reach agreement on a long standing equal pay dispute.
