If anyone had any doubts about the power of the organised working-class, the incredible strikes on London Underground and First Great Western by tube and railworkers’ unions last week were a tremendous demonstration of what the unions can do if they take determined action. Car of Barnet Unison activist vandalised in anti-union attack

We publish below a statement from Barnet Unison regarding the attack on John Burgess’s car. A hateful message was also attached. The NSSN gave its full support to the Barnet strike at our recent conference. A collection was taken at the conference with the money being split between Barnet Unison and a number of other ongoing strikes.
