26 July
On Saturday 23 July, up to ten thousand people marched through the
streets of Derby against the massacre of jobs at Bombardier. This was
an important step in the campaign to save Bombardier jobs, with
members of the workforce, their families and community members,
alongside trade unionists from across the country joining the march.
As the demonstration passed through the centre of Derby, shoppers
lined up along the sides of the route to applaud those marching. The
National Shop Stewards Network stands firmly behind Bombardier workers
in their campaign and calls for the renationalisation of Bombardier to
save jobs and skills.
